Description

Collagen is a structural protein and a major component of our connective tissue. It gives skin firmness, elasticity, and elasticity. In cosmetics, so-called marine collagen from various sources is used – traditionally from fish skin (animal-based), but today increasingly also as a vegan alternative obtained through biotechnological processes from marine ferments.

At Barau by Bibi, we use both variants deliberately and consciously:

– 🐟 Animal marine collagen in the Mild Cream – for firm, nourished skin with increased elasticity.

Difference: Vegan vs. animal-based marine collagen

🌿 Vegan marine collagen:
→ Produced from fermented microorganisms of marine origin (e.g., algal bacteria)
→ Suitable for all skin and hair types
→ Skin-like peptides, especially moisturizing & protective

🐟 Animal marine collage:
→ Obtained from fish skin or fish bones
→ Rich in glycine, proline & hydroxyproline – for firm, regenerated skin
→ Is particularly well absorbed by the skin
